Reformation Day

What is the Reformation? On or around October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed his legendary 95 theses to the door of Castle Church in  Wittenburg, Germany. These theses spelled out two basic beliefs - that the Bible is the only religious authority and that we can only reach salvation through faith alone - not by our works or deeds.  This marked the beginning of the Protestant Reformation and the beginnings of the Lutheran church.

Grace Christian Academy traditionally celebrates the Reformation in late October by asking the scholars to dress up as someone or something from the Bible. (We ask that scholars do not dress as Jesus or the Devil.) This year's dress-up day will take place on October 28th.
