Principal/Development Director Patrick Hurley is a native of Southern Maryland but lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1996-2012.  While in Milwaukee he taught middle school at St. Marcus Lutheran School for four years before transitioning to HOPE Christian Schools to start a school as a principal.  At HOPE Mr. Hurley started HOPE Middle School, a school of 75 students which he grew to a PreK-8th grade school of 260 students. Mr. Hurley joined the staff at Grace in the 2012/2013 school year.  He is married with two young boys who attend Grace Christian Academy.

7th - 8th Grade teacher Mr. Bob Rebers grew up on a farm near Wood Lake, Minnesota. He accepted a Call to Grace Lutheran School in 1996. Prior to joining Grace Lutheran School, Mr. Rebers taught at Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan for 12 years. Mr. Rebers is married and has two daughters. In his free time he enjoys sports, exercising, reading, and working in the yard.

5th - 6th Grade Teacher Mr. Matthew Redfield was born and raised in Watertown, Wisconsin. He met his wife Leigh on a blind date while attending Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. They have five children. He began teaching 5th and 6th grade at Grace in 2006. In his free time Mr. Redfield likes to play card games, watch pro football games, camp, hike, bike, explore museums, and be artsy.

3rd-4th Grade Teacher Katelyn Vollmer joined the staff at Grace in 2017.  She is originally from San Antonio, Texas. Her scholars are her passion, but in her free time she likes to read, be outdoors, and play with her newly adopted cat.

1st - 2nd grade Teacher Lorna Satorius graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College with a degree in Elementary Education.  She is a mother of four, all of whom attended Grace.

K4 - K5 Teacher Malissa Voss came to us in 2012 after graduating from Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education. She currently holds a Minnesota Teaching License and is in the process of completing the Virginia Licensure Program. She thoroughly loves being with the little ones during the day - watching them discover, learn and grow in all aspects, especially their love for Jesus. In her free time, Malissa enjoys being outdoors (anywhere near water especially!), watching sports, and being social with family and friends.
